India and Israel sign cooperative pact on peaceful use of outer space

India has signed cooperative arrangements with israel and 32 other countries on peaceful uses of outer space.

India has signed cooperative arrangements with Israel and 32 other countries on peaceful uses of outer space. These countries include Russia, USA, UK, and Japan.

 

Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply in Lok Sabha, today, said that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is pursuing cooperation in advanced areas of space science and technology. 

 

He said the areas of cooperation include remote Sensing of Earth, Satellite Communication, Space Exploration and Launch Services besides others.
