Shield Square will represent India at Start Tel Aviv this September

Shield square provides solutions for content thefts and web scrapping. It was choosen from among five other participating Indian Startups that competed for the top spot to go to Start Tel Aviv event.

Content protection and anti-scrapping start-up, Shield Square became the winner of the second edition to Start Tel Aviv contest run by The Embassy of Israel in partnership with TIE Delhi-NCR

 

Organized to find the Indian entry for the Start Tel Aviv event in Israel in September, the event received more than 70 entries from all over India. The final five startups presenting at the Delhi Finals were - App Virality, ShieldSquare, Adom Technologies, Vidgyor Media Technologies, Link Smart Technologies. The jury included Jaspreet Bindra, CEO, Getit.com, Dev Khare, Venture Investor at Lightspeed Ventures and Kunal Bajaj, Serial Entrepreneur and Tech Evangelist.

 

The winner Shield Square from Bangalore will travel to Tel Aviv in September to participate in "Start Tel Aviv" event during the DLD Festival week, and will have the opportunity to meet the smartest and the most innovative companies, techies, startups, designers, artists, scientists, investors, and cultural drivers from Israel and abroad.

 

Site scraping is a common form of content theft that is often overlooked by online businesses. Site scraping leads to revenue loss and increase of infrastructure costs. Shield Square's technology identifies scrapers in real time and empowers the site owner to block them.

 

Start Tel Aviv is a global event held by The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tel Aviv Global that brings together startups from eighteen different countries to take part in an intense, five-day startup experience in Tel Aviv's startup ecosystem.
