India's SREI is seeking an international partnerships with an Israelis company

Swach Environment, SREI's subsidary in the Indian market is exploring opportunities for water management in the country. Recently, the company has partnered with Veolia and Siemens and is proactively seek new partnerships.

Since it began operations in 1989, SREI Group has been considered a pioneer in funding and infrastructure development in India. The company focuses on infrastructure and offers a wide range of services under one umbrella. The company has a network of 99 offices all over India, with a customer base of over 30,000 and assets worth over 57 billion dollars.

 

'SREI Infrastructure Finance is a market leader in infrastructure financing in India and currently has about 30% market share (in the fields of construction, oil and gas, mining, ports and railways). The group is now looking for expansion opportunities in other emerging sectors such as water and wastewater technology, medical equipment, rural infrastructure. Although the company has invested billions in infrastructure sectors in India, they had no prior exposure to the water business prior to investing in its subsidiary ‘Swach Environment’. in 2011, S R E I Group gives full backing to its new subsidiary by assisting in eliminating obstacles in the Indian market.

 

The visionary company ‘Swach Environment’ is to provide an integrated solution to water and solid waste management, solid waste management and recycling, as well as serving public and private sectors through end-solutions with world-class technology. While being new players in the Indian market, Swach are exploring opportunities for water management, such as the treatment of industrial water and wastewater for power industry, steel, engineering, heavy chemicals, fertilizers, oil and gas sectors of pharmaceuticals, desalination and recycling, by cooperating with foreign companies as partners in technology. They have created successful partnerships this far with Veolia and Siemens and proactively seek new partnerships. The firm Swach recently won a Public Private Partnership project (PPP) in Delhi valued at US$ 85 million in partnership with Veolia Water. This project is a transmission system and water treatment in Delhi with a contract for 15 years.
