Consul General, Mr. David Akov expresses interest in collaborating with Maharashtra Govt.

He also said that Israel is keen on working with the newly formed Maharastra government in the areas of agriculture, education water and clean tech.

Consul General Mr. David Akov visited the office of leading regional daily Loksatta in Maharastra for an editorial interaction with the staff at the publication.

He expressed Israel's keen interest in cooperating with the newly elected government in Maharashtra in areas such as agriculture, water and clean-tech. 
 

He said that a delegation of six Israeli universities will be in India this coming December. The Israeli universities are keen to have talented students from India. And they are willing to offer a number of scholarships.

 
The Consul General also shared his assessment on various issues ranging from the events in Syria, Iraq and the Gulf countries, rise of ISIS, falling prices of crude oil and issues related to global security.
