Business Seminar on “Make in India” on March 2 in Tel Aviv

The Embassy of India in Israel has announced a high-level seminar on the subject of ‘Make in India’ – Incentives and Opportunities. The program will feature key speakers from India as well as leading executives of Israeli companies

The Embassy of India in Israel has announced a high-level seminar on the subject of ‘Make in India’ – Incentives and Opportunities on March 2, 2015 at Hotel Herods, 155 Hayarkon Street, Tel Aviv.

The seminar will be moderated by Deputy Chief of Mission Dr. Anju Kumar, with opening remarks by H.E. Mr. Jaideep Sarkar, Ambassador of India in Israel.

The program will feature key speakers from Indian Legal Advisory Services and Corporates as well as leading executives of Israeli companies that have had production facilities in India. The topics that will be covered are: Incentives and Manufacturing Opportunities in India; New Approaches to Investment, Intellectual Property, Training and Transfer of Technology. Various cases studies of Israeli companies that ventured into India in the manufacturing capacity – be it in Medical Equipment, Agriculture, Precision Machining, Defense and Integrated Circuits.

Israeli Presentations will cover the following aspects: How the company set up manufacturing facility in India; what business model the company adopted and why; challenges faced by the Israeli company and how they addressed them, how current changes in policy are helping companies manufacture in India and some advice to Israeli companies.
