Former Dentsu India chairman, Sandeep Goyal, will be visiting Idomoo's headquarters at Tel Aviv to explore option of signing a joint venture

Former Dentsu India chairman Sandeep Goyal's digital marketing company Mogae Media has signed an exclusive marketing tie-up with Israeli startup Idomoo, which will help advertisers create personalised video advertisements for individual consumers.

"At present, we have a tie-up which will give us access to their platform to create personalised videos for our clients," Goyal, who is the chairman of Mogae Media, said. The company is also looking at having a stake or signing a joint venture with Idomoo at a later stage. Goyal whose non-compete clause with Dentsu is ending this year, said he will be visiting its headquarters at Tel Aviv to meet the senior management and explore such possibilities.

Idomoo, which has a presence in markets such as America, Europe and some south Asian countries, will get a toehold in the Indian market through this deal. The deal will look at tapping advertisers primarily from ecommerce, banking and telecom industries.

Idomoo works with companies such as Amazon, Alibaba, Barclays, Cadbury's, Chevrolet, Hilton, Starbucks, Visa and Vodafone globally. It has developed an algorithm to determine user behaviour based on public data, depending on their browsing and buying history on online platforms. It will also access information based on consumers' Facebook profile. The company will then help advertisers make personalised videos and offers for each customer, which will be sent on their smartphones, mobile handsets, laptops and desktops. Idomoo had raised $9 million in funding in a round led by New York-based investment firm Marker in 2013 to bolster its cloudbased software platform,, which helps advertisers in creating personalised videos and improve customer interactions.
