Israel will share with India its technology to address water crisis

A.V. Friedman, Consul for Trade and Economic Affairs, Consulate General of Israel, Bangalore, said that “the solution is waste water recycling”

Israel, the global leader in water reuse technologies is willing to share its innovation to address water crisis in India.

A.V. Friedman, Consul for Trade and Economic Affairs, Consulate General of Israel, Bangalore disclosed this in Mysore today. Due to climate change and other reasons, India will face acute shortage of water in few decades, he opined. “The solution is waste water recycling”, he said.

 Friedman was addressing a joint press conference of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) and Mysore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI).

Mr. Sudhakar S. Shetty, Chairman of District co-ordination committee, FKCCI, said that a delegation comprising 14 members from Mysore city is attending Mixiii Conferences in Tel Aviv in order to get insight into Agricultural Development, Dairy, Automobile, water treatment and farming styles in Israel. Israel Innovation Conference (MIXiii) is being held at Tel Aviv fair grounds between May 20 and 22, 2014.
